Video: Gold Cup Team Member Liam Evans
Footballer Liam Evans — who scored his first full men’s team international goal for Bermuda in the lead up to qualifying for the 2019 Concacaf Gold Cup – said scoring that goal in front of the home crowd “was a crazy feeling.”
Mr. Evans also said he is especially looking forward to the game against Nicaragua — which will be in New Jersey — “because of all the support that we expect to have there. It’s the last game of the competition, so for us, it could be crucial as to whether we move on or not.”
