The police are appealing for witnesses after a video circulated on social media showing a fight taking place next to the Bermuda National Library.

A police spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service is aware of a video currently being circulated on social media showing a fight that took place next to the Bermuda National Library on Queen Street in the City of Hamilton.

“It is believed that the incident occurred on Monday, September 30th.

“It appears that the fight involved male teens – some in school uniform and some not – with other male and female teens looking on, filming the incident on their cell phones.

A lot of young men regularly hang out in the park… sometimes drinking and smoking weed. I can’t imagine this is what we want going on in the park.

Folks need to conduct themselves reasonably, and many do , however some folk wanna do what they do and confidently brag about it, its a new norm. The bus station and the park are two well known areas for violence.
