National Sports Centre To Remain Closed
The National Sports Centre is to remain closed in line with the Government’s phased approach to opening.
NSC Operations Manager Craig Tyrrell said: “We have aligned with the schools and Government offices and look forward to opening in Phase 3.
“The Government was clear that pools and gyms should remain closed and that sporting activities that cannot support social distancing guidelines should not restart, so we have decided that it makes sense for the entire facility to remain closed.
“We look forward to providing space when the time comes, but for now walkers and joggers are encouraged to use the nearby Arboretum. Please remember to maintain social distancing and the use of masks.”
