28 Yr Old Listed As Critical Following Accident

Just before 6pm today [July 20], a 28 year old St George’s man was involved in a serious traffic accident and is now listed in critical condition.

The Police responded to a report of a road traffic collision resulting in injury on Parsons Road in Pembroke near the junction with Field View Lane involving a car and a motorcycle, and traffic was diverted away from the scene for approximately two hours following the collision

The Police say that details about how the collision occurred are unclear at this time; however the rider of the motorcycle, a 28 year old St. George’s man, sustained serious head injuries. He was rushed to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment and at last check was in critical condition.

Police state that inquiries into this incident are underway.
