Terry Roberson, General Manager, of Bermuda CableVision said “Bermuda CableVision would like to advise its subscribers that it has now fully restored its main line plant following the damage caused by Hurricane Igor. I would like to thank our staff who have worked so tirelessly over the last 72 hours, in cooperation with Belco, to ensure that we are up and running again as soon as possible. We are now focusing our efforts on resolving service issues being experienced in individual homes. We ask that customers who have not yet reported outages to us to do so by calling 292-5544. I would like to thank our customers in advance for their patience and understanding as we complete this work.

“I would also like to remind our customers that once your power has been restored and has been stabilised, you can reconnect your cable equipment and the display on the converter box should come up with the current time. If it does not, please make sure that the cables have been properly reconnected. If the clock comes on and you are still unable to obtain a picture, please ensure that your television is tuned to channel 3.”
