East vs West School All-Star Soccer Results

The Bermuda School Sports Federation [BSSF] held their Annual All Star Weekend this past weekend, with the National Sports Centre hosting the All Star Football matches yesterday [Dec 11], the day after hosting the volleyball and netball matches.

The day started with West winning the Primary School Boys game, followed by the East winning both the male and female middle school boys and girls games, and the West picking up both wins at the senior school level.

Primary School Boy’s: East 1 West 3

Chermal Henry from Harrington Sound gave East the lead early in the first half. Rahzir Jones from West Pembroke scored two goals for the West and Enrique Russell from Paget Primary scored the other to complete the comeback. East goalkeeper Andrew Kempe from Somersfield Academy was his team’s MVP along with Rahzi Jones from the West.

Middle School Girls: East 2 West 1

Goals from Whitney’s Jahziah Samuels and Clearwater’s Jasmine Spence gave the East the two goals needed to win, while Kennesha Nannette from Saltus scored for the West. K’shaela Burch-Waldron from Whitney was East MVP, while Dominique Ford-Eve from the TN Tatem was the West MVP.

Middle School Boys: East 3 West 1

The East got two goals from their MVP Jaman Lottimore from the Whitney Institute as they defeated the West 3 – 1. Kervin Moreno from the Clearwater Middle School scored the other East goal, while Isaiah Robinson from the Bermuda Institute scored the lone goal for the West who had Amar Lewis from the Warwick Academy named MVP.

Senior School Girls: East 0 West 2

The West got a goal each from BHS’s Akeyla Furbert and Warwick Academy’s Khyla Brangman as they defeated the East 2 – 0. Akeyla Furbert was voted the West MVP, while Kacee Morton-Simons from Saltus was the East MVP.

Senior School Boys: East 0 West 2

Berkeley’s Lejuan Simmons and Joshua DeSilva both scored for the West as they defeated the East 2 – 0. Lejuan Simmons was voted the West MVP, while Rakeem Deshields from Saltus was the East MVP.
