  1. Citizen Banned says:

Just in case I’m out on the lookout for this person: Does ‘light skinned’ mean a white guy or a person of African descent with a not so dark skin?

    • Preto Plato says:

      LOL… Good Point!

    • Ingy says:

      LOL…what about high yella!

    • Triangle Drifter says:

Thats a problem inna? When you are white, you are not really all that white. When you are black you are not really all that black.

      • Can you handle this says:

Exactly!!! Because I would be considered to be black if you saw me because of my coloring(dark brown)..but my great grandmother was a “white” Irish woman…so whether we wish to admit it or not (and this is for those that ARE racist)we are ALL MIXED UP just as Triangle Drifter states, whether we like it or not!!!!!!!

  2. Theresa Simpson says:

Instead of cutting the police maybe now they will INCREASE the police presence in St George….Maybe?

  3. US Observer says:

Really now? When was the last time you heard of a white person being light skinned?

  4. Terry says:

@ US Observer…….get real……Go to Orlando and see the dudes comming back from Jamaica after a few days in the sun. Talk about racial profilling……bwhaaaaaa

  5. Citizen Banned says:

US observer: ‘light skinned’ was not a good enough description lets face it. I know the guy had a hoody on and shades – but then I’d be called racist if I assumed the dude was of African descent from that. We need to be told a better description and not pansy around with terms such as ‘light skinned’ so as not to offend some person of colour.

I happen to live in St George and would like to know who I’m up against. ‘Light skinned’ doesn’t cut it and is a pathetic attempt to Not to say BLACK!!!!!! Yes, it was a BLACK person. So just say it was a BLACK person.

If it was a WHITE person then say so too!

  6. Bernman says:

Okay someone tell me if I am wrong, but would it be good if we knew what Business this was? I mean if someone were outside of the place at that time, maybe they would come forward?

  8. Terry says:

Ps. My informant tells me it was a guy with ties to Somers Gardens but the light was so bad…..

  9. Citizen Banned says:

I’m from St G and a college grad too and I still have no clue what business it was. But it could be Wahoo, or Tavern, St G Club. Only the Best? Upper Crust was closed when I went by at 9.25pm. Wish someone would tell us instead of keeping it some stupid police secret.

    • BDA says:

  10. Terry says:

  14. Nicole says:

LOL what store is open at 11 pm in St. Georges? That place is a ghost town by 8 pm.

  15. Bigus says:

What store was said witness supposed to have seen this incident? the police report must be from MI5 What or who are they trying to protect? The shop has already been hit guys you can at least reveal the name.

I used to laugh at the descriptions given of perpetrators which usually implicated half of the black population but this is a new twist LMBAO

  16. W.T.F.??? says:

only one place at that time…

    something similar to relatives

  17. Stephen says:

How about the name of the establishment, would that not help!!! Could never understand why the place of the offense is held back.

  18. Kristin says:

I heard it was Cousins, aka, the Green Shop by Selenas.

  19. Just saying says:

At the end of the day the people that stay in st. Georges and pay attention know what store it is and know the names of the streets. aka Wellington. Being that this is Bermuda everyone knows that we call people of African decent with light skin “YELLA SKINNED, so i would need people to not make a big thing out of something that just takes a little common sense.
