Accident Involving Horse Drawn Carriage
Around 1:50pm on Thursday [May 5], Police responded to a report of a horse drawn carriage that had bolted from its operator in the Dockyard area.
However, on arrival members of the public and a police officer had managed to quickly bring the situation under control. There was relatively minor damage to a car and minor injuries to one of the two horses involved as well as the carriage operator, a 42 year old Paget man.
No members of the public or visitors in the area were injured and property damage was minimal.
