  1. Red says:

Why don’t you simply have the draw and spare us the boring self promotion…

    • Lou says:

You would rather be entertained reading of another shooting?

      • Red says:

There is entertainment and this ain’t it..Give the cash and keep your boots off..@

  2. Not Dopey says:

I like these Alpha Phi Alpha, men.. They seem positive and are doing awesome things. I am not sure who the Kappa Psi Phi men are, My money is on the Alpha’s…

I will be there with Bells on.

The fact that the money raised will go to a charity… Well done men !

  3. Not Dopey says:

    Red:

The football game allows the brothers to have healthy competition, it brings both organisations together, it allows men to interact (through sport) in a healthy and postive way.

Self Promotion: who is being promote d ? We are promoting our organisation and our community !

I am no frat person, I must say, I love this ! Way to go !

  4. Sam says:

The Alphas will win this easy. Good work in making a donation to charity as many of them are struggling for funds

  5. Cal Blankendal says:

Keep up the great work and keep up the PR. We need more good news and community minded events!

  6. Crimson Team!!! says:

The Kappas do a lot for the community as well. Most highly noted is thier annual Youth Soccer Tournament. This event is nothing less than awesome. Some great shows other community efforts have been put forth by the Kappas also. To Red: I was always taught if you dont have anything nice to say…dont say anything at all. You may not see this as an “entertaining” venture but it is a very positive community oriented one showing collaboration and team spirit. Good luck to both teams….but GO KAPPAS!!!!

    • Red says:

Seriously not awesome. It is young children competing for trophies When they simply should be playing for enjoyment. Absolutely not the correct way to develop young football players. Fact!!

      • Anti-Red says:

Red…its the pessimistic people like you that are contributing to our social deterioration. Firstly..lighten up!! This is a football game that obviously both organizations decided to do for fun, but then thought outside the box and expanded it for a charitable cause. If you don’t see the good in that, then I agree with Crimson Team…don’t say nothing at all! But GO ALPHAS lol. Secondly, why don’t show your face and play some football…by your tone and attitude I’m sure we’ll all be entertained by that HAH!!

        • Red says:

The fact that young children should not develop in the manner your show case requires is not pessimistic,it is simply accepted by many reputable world class coaches..Again, Fact!

I have no doubt that you have already been entertained by me.. Absolutely…No doubt.

As for contributing to the social demise of a once sound country, be assured, in a bad day I have done more and without the fanfare..

          • asdavis10 says:

NO YOUNG CHILDREN WILL BE PLAYING! It will be adult males who are members of both organizations playing in a friendly but competitive game against each other. The match would have taken place anyway. But what is wrong with putting on a fun a positive event for the community to witness? Bermuda needs more positive events for our youth to witness. I don’t care who is putting it on. Churches, choirs, sports clubs, fraternities/sororities, businesses, etc.. I’m tired of reading about negativity in Bermuda. The fact that an organization can come and watch this event and walk away with $1000 for their community service projects is something that should be praised.

            • AS – I suspect that RED is speaking to the youth tournament when he made that comment.. Now breathe and get ready for your positive event.

Oh, by the way, I like Red believe that it is more about you and the Fraternity versus the money being given out…

              Just sayin…

  7. Not Dopey says:

I look forward to the match tonight, my lawn chair and cooler are both packed in the car tand ready for my outing tonight.

This event sounds immensely positive, I can’t wait…

    Red: get a grip !
