Minor Bike/Car Accident on Parsons Road

A minor traffic accident on Parsons Road in Pembroke caused a few delays for early morning commuters today [July 27]. At approximately 8:00am, a motorbike and car collided on Parsons Road, however neither the bike rider or car occupant appeared to have sustained serious injuries.

The figures released in the latest Police Statistics Report showed in the three month period of April 1st to June 30th 2011 there were 560 traffic collisions, and 11,026 traffic tickets issued, an average of approximately 122 tickets and 6.2 accidents per day.
