Fray Wins BCB President Election

November 30, 2011

The Bermuda Cricket Board held their Annual General Meeting last night [Nov.29], with Lloyd Fray, Clay Smith and Edward Bailey present at start of the meeting, and Allen Richardson arriving later.

Prior to the start of the AGM outgoing President Reginald Pearman said, ‘I did not accomplish all my goals, but I am happy with the place I am leaving office. My proudest moments would have to be when we qualified for the Cricket World Cup and then when we play.”

Mr Richardson had to withdraw as he was not nominated by a club, leaving the selection to be a three-way vote. Mr Fray won the election with 10 votes, Mr Bailey won 3 votes and Mr Smith ended with no votes.
