Tom Pettit Thanksgiving Essay Finalists
The judging panel declared the six student finalists in the 14th Annual Tom Pettit Thanksgiving Essay Competition.
All senior school students were eligible to enter and have the chance to win the first prize of a $1,000 grant. The five finalists will receive “Commendation of Excellence” awards and a $500 grant.
Minister of Education Dame Jennifer M. Smith will host the awards reception at Camden on Wednesday, the 23rd of November and will announce the winner.
Corporate sponsors who generously support this educational initiative and provide the monetary awards are Edmund Gibbons Ltd, Orbis Investment Management and the XL Foundation. Pettit Grants board members Muriel Richardson and Kim White offer invaluable assistance as well as The Rosedon Hotel
