Upcoming: Retirement Roast For Walter Lister
Constituency 34, Sandys South Central, of the Bermuda Progressive Labour Party invites the public to attend “A Retirement Roast for Walter Lister to be held on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at the Fairmont Southampton Mid Ocean Amphitheatre.
Mr. Lister, a 36 year veteran of the House of Assembly, will be retiring at the next general election, and the members of his Branch have organized this evening to honour his many years of service to both the Progressive Labour Party and Bermuda.
A PLP spokesperson said, “There will be a cocktail reception at 6:30pm, followed by dinner at 7:30pm. Attire is formal. Musical entertainment for the evening will be provided by “The Unit” and Mr. Lister will be roasted by many of his colleagues and friends, including current and former Members of Parliament.
