40 Speeding Tickets Issued In West End
Officers from the Roads Policing Unit conducted laser speed checks in both the western and eastern parishes during Wednesday June 13th and Thursday June 14th. The police said that as a result, over forty speeding tickets were issued, with several motorists ticketed for speeds in the 60 and 70 kph range.

It’s about time!!!! I was begining to think that speed limits were a thing of the past and that a center lane had been installed along middle road for the bikes to fly along…. (and it aint just the kids)

Back in my day, we would each lash 50 tickets out a day…I dunno what these guys have been doing for the past few years…..but I know it hasn’t been issuing speeding tickets….
I see that guy with the funny side burns that is in charge up there at all the bars having a good time every friday afternoon.
Is there something suspicious about all this? Now enforcing the law just prior to an election. A government notice will probably follow early next week to explain this unusual occurrence.
