Man Injured After Crashing Into Wall

A 24-year-old man was injured on Saturday after crashing his motorcycle into a wall on Middle Road in Southampton.

A police statement said: “Around 12:10am on Saturday, November 17th police and first responders attended a reported single vehicle motorcycle collision on Middle Road in Southampton near the junction with Granaway Heights Road. It appears that the motorcycle was being ridden along Middle Road when it collided with a wall.

“The motorcycle rider, a 24 year old Sandys parish man, was injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment; however his injuries are not believed to be serious. The motorcycle received extensive front end damage. Inquiries into this collision are ongoing.”
