St. George’s Club ‘Gold Crown’ Designation

December 13, 2012

The St. George’s Club today announced it has been awarded the RCI Gold Crown Resort property designation for 2013.

A select number of RCI affiliated resorts meet RCI’s requirements for recognition and have earned the RCI Gold Crown Resort award. These resorts have attained high levels of excellence in resort accommodations, hospitality and member experience as measured by RCI.

“The St. George’s Club is delighted to have earned this designation again for 2013. We are constantly updating and improving our infrastructure and level of service and we will continue to do so,” said Sally-Ann Kyle, President of The St. G Club Ltd, the developer.

“We understand that guests have a choice when they travel and we want to ensure their visit to our resort is memorable and shows Bermuda at its best.”

“RCI’s Resort Recognition Program helps ensure that our RCI affiliated resorts adhere to RCI’s standards for accommodations, hospitality and member experience,” said Gordon Gurnik, President of RCI.

“We are thrilled to recognize those who have attained this designation and continue to work to offer top vacation destinations to our 3.7 million members worldwide.”

I’m sorry to sound negative but I didn’t think the St. George’s Club is that high a calibre. It’s been a while since I have been down there but I don’t recall any ‘sprucing up’ being done there.

I have a couple of friends who are RCI members and had the opportunity to visit the hotel with them as it was their first time…

It was quite a pleasant surprise. and yes quite up to date. Very good service including shuttle in and around the Old Towne.

My advice to you Kim is to pay them a visit before you assume that they have done nothing.
