Video: Paget Primary School Election Song
There are a few candidates running in an upcoming election that everyone can support no matter their political persuasion, with students from the Paget Primary School scheduled to hold their own ‘Election Day’ later this week. The students have been learning about the Bermuda electoral process in their social studies class, and their “Election” is part of the process.
The Paget Primary Election Song:
On Friday, December 7, 2012, the entire student body will participate in a Mock Election. The process began two weeks ago when the Primary six students nominated fellow students to run for Office. The students will also hold a “Pre-Election Rally” and their own “Election Day” in the Assembly Hall.
Candidates have been announced and can be seen on campus canvassing their peers. The students have made posters and can be seen handing out treats to voter hopefuls first thing in the mornings.

Very proud parent of a student of Paget Primary and the entire school was involved. Special thanks to Mr. Tankard, the music teacher at Paget. My son is still singing the song and they are getting ready for the mock election. My son says he’s voting for the candidate that is offering chips!!!!
