Amateur Match Play Golf Championships Day 1
The 2013 Bermuda Amateur Match Play Championships got underway Wednesday [Mar 6] at the Mid Ocean Club Golf Course.
Day One was Qualification Day, Katrin Burnie turned in the lowest Gross Round in the Ladies Division with a 81. Linda Down shot 86 to finish in second place while Ebonie Burgess shot a 87 to end the day in third place.
In the Men’s Division Chris Brough and Spencer Wideman both shot 78 to top the Qualification Leaderboard. With the defending champion Jarryd Dillas opting to sit the Qualification Round out, Nick Mansell finished with the third best score of 79.
