Ian Cook Promoted To Group COO Of BAS Ltd.

Bermuda Aviation Services Limited have promoted of Bermudian Ian Cook to the position Group Chief Operating Officer of Bermuda Aviation Services Ltd. (BAS) effective 22 April, 2013. Mr Cook replaces Frank Williams who has left the Company.

Mr Cook is an accomplished Engineer with more than decade of senior management experience working in businesses in Bermuda, Europe and Dubai.

As an Operations Manager in the UK, he project managed 12 airports through new rigorous safety and financial regulations. He has also worked as a Senior Engineering Manager in Dubai and was instrumental in opening the new Dubai World Central Airport, restructuring the business to realise cost savings and operational efficiencies.

Mr Cook re-joined the BAS Group in 2011 when he assumed the role of General Manager of CCS Ltd. Prior to that; he had worked at BAS-Serco from 1997 – 2004 in the capacity of Ground Electronics Services Manager.
