Small Brush Fire Extinguished In St. David’s
The Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service responded to a report of a brush fire at approximately 2.15pm today [May 21] in the Ballast Point Road area.
One vehicle with four personnel attended the scene and on arrival discovered a small area of debris smouldering. A member of the public was using a bucket to throw water from the nearby seaside onto the area. Fire fighters wet down the area while tossing the debris with a rake to ensure all hot spots were doused.
