OJ Pitcher Is Chivas Sportsman of the Week
Bermuda Cricket Board [BCB] and Chivas Regal announced the winner of the weekly Chivas Cricket Sportsman Award [CCSA]. The BCB confirmed that the winner of the award for this week is OJ Pitcher.
A BCB spokesperson said, “The BCB is very pleased to confirm that the winner of the award for this week is OJ Pitcher.
“During the game against Devonshire Rec, OJ was a source of encouragement and support to a Devonshire youth player who was having a difficult day in the field.
“This player left the field and in the spirit of the game, OJ allowed a substitute to act for him even though he could have prevented that substitute according to the cricket rules”.
