Teachers Win BNA Netball Summer Session
The Bermuda Netball Association’s Summer Season concluded on at the Bernard Park with the Teachers winning the League.
Jasmine Smith scored 11 goals to lead the Colossal to a 26 – 23 come from behind victory over the Blue Flame Police. Eshe Grant added 10 goals and Nandi Woods scored 5 goals. Stacey O’Brien scored 12 goals for the Blue Flames Police, while Latasha Rogers added 11 goals.
The Breakers defeated HSBC 39 – 6, Kirstin Saltus scored 20 goals for the breakers, while Darrika Simons added 19 goals. HSBC got two goals apiece from Lanae Woodley, Damiqua Daniels and Tahkeesha Welch.
PHC defeated BMA 20 – 9, Vernika Symonds led PHC to victory with 10 goals, Jennifer SImmons and Marley Simons both scored five goals apiece. Precious Smith scored 7 goals for BMA and Undrea Robinson added 2 goals.
The Teachers finished on top of the Summer League table having won 11 games drawing 1 and going down once collecting a total of 34 points.
The Breakers finished second with 30 points and the Blue Flame Police finished third with 27 points.
