Ryan Davidge and Andrew Osborne [FB16] took line honors at the 2013 Around The Island Race on Sunday [Aug 11] setting a new class record time of 46:56, and you can watch the race from their perspective in the video below. well done you guys, that brought back a lot of memories for me , i used to race with lee white many years ago, that sure is a very well running boat, congratulations on the win.
would be nice to know what differentiates all the classes, is there anyway we can find that info out? Congrats btw.
A = 90hp
FB = 150hp
D (orange letter) = 200hp
D (black letter) = >200hp (the two boats that ran were 280hp)
S = Twin 280hp
P = This boat is 1000hp+ with twin inboards
The classes all have displacement limits and some allow for modifications but the above is a basic guide to what the classes are.
