Re/insurance company PartnerRe has released their PartnerResearch app, a mobile program that will allow insurance professionals to access historical data and modern extrapolations of windstorm events and the damage they’ve caused while on the go.
Developed specifically for property insurance underwriters, insurance portfolio managers, actuaries and intermediaries, the PartnerResearch app provides access to expertly compiled hazard footprints of historical windstorm events. With proprietary analysis and detailed renderings of each storm, this app is a go-to reference for comparing historical footprints with exposures in property insurance portfolios.
The app instantly visualizes the geographical extent and maximum wind speed categories of over 1,100 historical North Atlantic Basin and European windstorms. Search for storms by name, location or year and create your own personalized storm views.
Notable features of the PartnerResearch app include:
- Recall the path, extent and intensity of 1,144 individual windstorms.
- View the storm frequency and intensity for a location on a year-by-year basis for up to 113 years.
