Photos: Police Week 2013 Seniors Tea Event
The Police Week 2013 Seniors Tea held on Tuesday, October 8th saw the largest turnout yet. This year’s event took place at Devonshire Recreation Club with approximately 200 senior citizens attending. Station Duty Officer Linda Mienzer led the proceedings, keeping her audience engaged and entertained.
The guests of honour were served food and soft drinks by police officers as well as support staff of the Bermuda Police Service. In addition, the mature crowd were serenaded by the police choir and treated to a performance by saxophonist Detective Constable Damon Hollis.
The Commissioner of Police Michael DeSilva, Assistant Commissioner Paul Wright and Police Week 2013 Committee Chairman Superintendent James Howard along with other senior officers were also in attendance to speak to and interact with those present.
