Court: 24 Year Old Man Denies Pitbull Charges
A 24 year old man appeared in Magistrates Court today [Dec 20] where he denied charges of illegally breeding a pitbull and keeping pitbulls without permission.
Damon Morris pleaded not guilty to five counts involving illegally breeding a female pitbull dog and keeping pitbull dogs without a licence to do so.
All five charges were alleged to have come out of Morris’s alleged actions between a date unknown and November 2013. Senior Magistrate Archie Warner adjourned the matter until January 2014.

Why does most of the Bermuda public’s comment about pit bulls state that they are illegal. Not all of them are illegal, look at the charges that Mr. Morris face in this regard. Bernews reports that 2 of the 5 charges are that he illegally bred a female pit bull which implies that there are legal ways to breed and the 2nd charge is keeping pit bull puppies without a license which implies that you can get a license to own one.

No I didn’t. These particular ones were allegedly illegally bred and unlicensed, therefore these particular dogs ARE illegal.

Even if you didn’t say All pirties are illegal you were insinuating that those particular pitties were illegal. I don’t know of one person that would agree with you that a dog is illegal, that is just loonacy to blame the dogs because the person in charge of them did not get the appropriate license or care for them appropriately. The action of the human was illegal not the dog. The human was at fault not the dogs.
