In the first set Selassie was down 3-0, before staging a comeback fighting to take the first set 5-3.

Selassie didn’t ease up in the second set and put more pressure on right until the last ball winning the second set 4-1, to claim the win in the finals.

According to Selassie’s mother Dana Selassie, “His level of focus and composure was well noted by bystanders.
This was an important win, as it gives him the national ranking points that he needs, as this is the last tournament for the winter season run.”
