Tennis: Phillips Reaches Little Mo Final In Florida
Bermuda’s Daniel Phillips has reached the finals of the Little Mo International Tennis Tournament in Florida.
Phillips defeated Jake Kennedy in straight sets 6-0, 6-0 in his first match. Phillips won his second match in three sets. He won the first set 6-0, but his opponent James Finn Willwerth won the second set 6-4, but Phillips then won the tie-breaker 10-3.
Phillips took to the court for his semi-final match taking on the number three seed Daniel Clivio and went down in the first set 7-6, but bounced back and won the second set 6-1, he then advanced to the final with a 10-4 third set tie-breaker win.
Phillips will take on the number two seed Moritz Kudernatsch in the final.
