Head Librarian, Joanne Brangman stated, “We started this programme to encourage our patrons to venture outside their comfort zone this winter and read books from seven different genres, including a fun surprise title.

“Upon registering, each person is given a Winter Reading quilt form which must be completed to be eligible to receive prizes. We also want participants to use the form to comment and reviews about the books they chose.”

A spokesperson said, “The public is invited to sign-up to receive a participant prize and an entry for the weekly draw and a final grand prize. The Winter Reading Programme is sponsored by the Buechner Society of Bermuda.

“Cozy up in your favourite spot this winter with a warm beverage of your choice, and let BNL heat up your imagination or fire you off to new places!”
