Bermuda Folk Club To Host Irish Music Event
The Bermuda Folk Club is getting set to host a showcase of Bermuda’s amateur and professional talents as they play Irish music and more on Saturday [Mar 8] at the Spanish Point Boat Club, starting at 8.00pm.
There will be a special guest appearance by Justin Hines.
According to the website of Irish Music Magazine, “Irish traditional music is at the heart of Irish culture and history, never as a static antiquity, with the tradition remaining alive and vital, open to change, yet conservative of its core values.”
The admission fee for this event is $10, payable at the door.

Just questions of curiosity…
What is the connection between Irish history, culture and music and Bermuda? Where is the connection, culturally and historically?
The music must be awesome and very appealing for it to be promoted in Bermuda. May the event be very successful on all levels.
