BUEI To Host Two Ocean Vet Series Lectures
The Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute [BUEI] is getting ready to host two lectures based on the upcoming Ocean Vet television series, with Dr. Neil Burnie and members of the film crew set to deliver a talk and entertain questions from the public on Thursday, April 10 and again on Monday, April 14, 2014.
A spokesperson said, “The series follows the exploits and adventures of Dr. Neil Burnie in the oceans around Bermuda. The Ocean Vet crew are currently filming a full 12 part series from March through October 2014.
“The show is being made by UK video production company gassProductions, creators of the hit Discovery and
WFN fishing show Rod and Rucksack. Ocean Vet will be broadcast internationally in 2015.”
“Episodes include tagging tiger sharks, charting turtles, following humpback whales on their migratory journey, monitoring for night sharks, adventures through the floating jungle and so much more. This is your opportunity to see the latest footage and hear first-hand from the host and film crew.”
Each evening will begin at 6.00pm when the Harbourfront opens for dinner, with a cash bar, featuring happy hour prices, opening at 6.30pm. The lectures themselves will begin at 7.30pm.
The cost to attend is $20 for members and $25 for non-members. Tickets are available by calling 294-0204
