Tillman Darrell Denies Wounding Charges
Appearing in Magistrates Court this morning [May 13], a 47-year-old man pleaded not guilty to charges stemming from an alleged incident in March of this year.
Tillman Darrell — who ran as an Independent candidate in the 2012 General Election — pleaded not guilty to unlawfully assaulting a man and causing him grievous bodily harm and, without lawful authority, possessing an offensive weapon, namely a Carlsberg beer bottle.
All the charges result from an incident alleged to have happened in Pembroke on March 20, 2014.
Magistrate Nicole Stoneham granted Mr. Darrell $3,000 bail and ordered to stay away from the complainant.
