A spokesperson said, “Methodism is alive and well and flourishing here in Bermuda. The 2014 conference was held this weekend with inspiring music from the praise team lead by Prince-Albert Jackson and the amazing band Leviticus.

“Well done also to Pastor Cyril Simmons for an awesome word on Friday evening and Pastor Gary Clarke. Mr. Peter Hardy presented on the history of methodism and special thanks to all our facilitators for the Saturday interactive workshops.

“Mrs. Debbie Flood and her youth team, along with Kevin Mahoney from Young Life, did a fantastic job with our young people. We ended the conference with a joint worship service at Emmanuel Methodist in Southampton followed by a delicious BBQ. Thank you to all the participants, coordinators, and planners.”
