Police Witness Appeal: Weekend Collisions

The police are appealing for witnesses to the two collisions this weekend, one of which left a 20 year old man in critical condition in the ICU.

A police spokesperson said, “At last check the 20 year old male motorcyclist injured after apparently colliding with a roadside wooden railing around 1:40am Sunday, June 29th on Somerset Road in Sandys parish near the junction with Scaur Hill Drive remained in critical condition at the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

“Inquiries are ongoing and any witnesses to this collision are encouraged to contact the Somerset Police Station on 234-1010.

“At last check the 19 year old male motorcyclist injured after colliding with a car around 10:30am Saturday, June 28th on North Shore Road, Devonshire in the vicinity of the Mid-Atlantic Boat Club remained in stable condition on a general ward at the hospital.

“Inquiries are ongoing and any witnesses that have not yet come forward are encouraged to contact the Hamilton Police Station on 295-0011.”
