Man Charged With Unlawful Carnal Knowledge

August 21, 2014

Appearing in Magistrates Court this morning [August 21], a 20-year- old Pembroke man was charged with having unlawful carnal knowledge with a girl aged between 14 and 16.

The charges were that on 9th August 2014, in Pembroke Parish, he had unlawful carnal knowledge of a girl aged between 14 and 16; and, on the same date, using ‘What’s App’, he lured the girl for the purpose of committing an act of unlawful carnal knowledge.

The defendant — who cannot legally be named at this stage of the proceedings — was not required to enter a plea as the case can only be tried in Supreme Court. He was remanded, and must reappear for mention on 4th September.

  1. Concerned says:

This has seriously got to stop! Every time I see another story like this I cringe and wonder what is really going on in the minds of those involved…as outsiders we want to quickly place blame but the reality is that one if not all those involved in the alleged situation are broken/lost and they need help to understand the error of their ways or if guilty, punishment to know that their actions are not without consequence Or maybe both. Smh it’s just getting out of control.
