Photos: Hurricane Cristobal Passes By Bermuda
As Hurricane Cristobal continues on its path north of Bermuda, services on the island continued to operate as normal with passengers arriving at LF Wade International Airport as the sun rose this morning [Aug 28], for their scheduled flights.
Sea conditions at the Causeway appeared relatively normal with the South Shore experiencing some swells and crashing waves, while the waters of the North Shore were also more active than normal. The U.S. National Hurricane Center in Miami said the storm was carrying maximum sustained winds near 75 mph [120 km/h] with higher gusts.
The NHC predicts that the “center of Cristobal will rapidly move toward the north Atlantic well away from Bermuda during the next several hours and pass well south of Nova Scotia later today.”

Ahhhh yes…we find ourselves in a time of free car washes ,and homless people getting free showers, it is indeed a time of gratuity, let us provide soap and wash clothes …perhaps the odd occasional towell….it is that time again, and I hear off in the distance a song beckoning the stinky boo boos of Bermuda….zestfully…zestfully….ZESTFULLY CLEAN!
I knew this would come to pass…. I saw it in my Cristobal.
