Govt. Tax Extension Due To Fay & Gonzalo

Due to the disruption caused by Tropical Storm Fay and Hurricane Gonzalo, the Government has extended the tax deadline from October 15th to October 24th.

A spokesperson from the the Office of the Tax Commissioner said, “In consideration of the impact of Tropical Storm Fay and Hurricane Gonzalo, all tax returns which were due by the 15th October 2014 will be processed without penalty if received by end of day on Friday 24th October 2014.

“Since tax day fell between both TS Fay and Hurricane Gonzalo, the deadline has been extended to 24th October 2014 to allow all taxpayers to file returns and pay taxes due without incurring a penalty.”
