Photos: Halloween Festivities Across Bermuda

November 2, 2014

Adults joined children on Friday night [Oct 31] and got into the spirit of Halloween, dressing up in costumes and making their way to various homes and events. A few houses were decorated for the occasion with “creepy music” and sound effects to add to the Halloween experience.

Melville Estate has been a popular spot with many homes decorated and welcoming a steady flow of trick or treaters, young and old with one household saying they handed out candy to close to 400 revelers before the night was done. Some homeowners went the extra mile and were wearing costumes themselves while handing out candy.

The Paget home of Kim and Paul Spring has welcomed trick or treaters over the years and saw the property decorated once again with the pair and their children dressed in costume and scaring delighted visitors as they came for a treat. Adults were also entertained with refreshments and Mrs Spring chasing unsuspected victims with a roaring chain-less chainsaw.

Some houses had scary surprises awaiting their visitors, such as spiders dropping out of mid-air and creatures that sprung out at unsuspecting visitors as they stepped on a mat searching for candy. For all our Halloween themed photo galleries click here.
