Event To Mark 20 Years Of Karate Competition
Zenji-Ryu Bermuda Karate-Do are happy to be celebrating 20 years of Karate competition and will be hosting the 20th annual Shiai Invitational Karate Tournament on Sunday [Feb 15] at the Pembroke Sunday School at 1.00pm.
Admission is $10 or $5 for under 12 and the event flyer says, “We hope to see the various schools support this special occasion and also invite spectators to attend and show support for local martial arts”.
The school with the most entries will receive $200 cash prize and a $100 award to go to the best male and female competitor of the day. The event is in aid of B.K.O. Bermuda. For more information call Sensei Gladwin ‘ROOTS’ Phillips at 505-9994.
