TO ALL D CAR DRIVERS. PLEASE WHEN U SEE A FAST BIKE COMING YOUR WAY PLEASE DONT PULL YOUR CAR UP LIKE A JACK ***. S*** LIKE THIS WILL HAPPEN. YOU WILL BE TRANSLESS FOR A WHILE, YOU MIGHT BE THE REASON WHY SOMEONE DIES. SO PLEASE… USE YOUR COMMON SENSE, SIT DOWN IN YOUR CAR COUCH AND WAIT.
What puzzles me with your comment Skink is that instead of speaking to the IDIOTS who go waaaay to fast on their bikes, you decide its better to reprimand the drivers of the cars!!! I live on Parsons Road and can tell you first hand that being patient and waiting for that fast bike isnt always an option as more often than not the bikes are going so fast that by the time we see them and the speed they are going its to damn late! How about being part of the REAL SOLUTION and suggest to these people that they stop risking the lives of me and my children along with all others who travel that road into their hands and SLOW DOWN!!!!
What type of nonsense are you spouting? This looks like the bike didn’t stop when coming out of a lane because the car was hit dead on! Yet you are putting the responsibility on the car driver?!? The car was on the main road and had the right away!
Bike riders please responsible! This could have been tragic!
Daz Lickins… I hope everybody good
What on earth is going on with BDA drivers??? This is almost every day now!!
Doesn’t appear to be much tread on the bike’s rear tyre.
Hope an extended hospital stay will not be required.
I had almost the exact same accident in the same place 14 years ago! In my case the car made a Uturn out of the bus stop without looking, looks like this car pulled out of the driveway and maybe didn’t see the bike or the bike was floatin. Hope u alright bra!
Agree…it’s very often all about visibility. A bike is harder to see than a car (even at 35-50kph and with so many bikes on the road). I always ride with my high beam ON during the DAYTIME, and wish everyone would!
This is not related to this incident but why do riders have to be sooo close to cars in front of them? Just wondering…
Common Sense must be Used !! People be riding bikes like they are the only ones using the roads ! We have a speed limit for very obvious reasons !! How much distance does a vehicle need to stop at your speed above 50kph ? Taking into consideration of how good your brakes , tires and your reaction to stop is ??????
With so many gates , lanes exits, entraces off the main roads COMMON SENSE MUST BE USED !! SLOW DOWN OR GO DOWN !!
BIKES THINK THAT THEY ARE KING OF THE ROAD NOT SO THEY ARE KING OF THE ASPHALT.
I saw another accident this morning at the bottom of Berkley road. One car was smashed up in the front and the other was smashed up on the side.
I almost got into accident this morning if I didn’t slow down right away that guy in the bike who ever he is would have been in serious injury, I got two children in my car he almost hit my car straight God is so good that he keep us safe but this car behind me obviously too close hit me behind, so sad that it scares me to death I cried so hard I fear for my children’s safety, if this people do not care about they’re life try to be considerate.
