Maintenance To Cause Green Route Ferry Delay

The Department of Marine and Ports said they “would like advise the public that due to maintenance requirements, they anticipate delays of up to 15 minutes on the Green route ferry arriving at Hamilton during the morning commuter service on Thursday April 23rd and Friday April 24th from Rockaway, Cavello Bay and Watford Bridge. The management team at Marine and Ports apologizes for the inconveniences to the public.”

    Okay, so the last time they announced these delays, the ferries actually showed up EARLIER than normal – so commuters, I would strongly recommend that you turn up at the ‘usual’ time – not forgetting that for us Watford commuters, that’s the new time of 7 &/or 8am.

    And HOPEFULLY, now that all three routes are to be combined, the larger ferries will be utilized?

    Can we also have a step-stool for the high tides so we no longer have to be hauled on board by the crew?

    And are all the seats fixed to accommodate the commuters?

    I would think since our fares have increased and you are now cutting routes, there would be some more money in the coffers to make us a bit more comfortable?
