Two Men Plead Not Guilty To Sexual Assault
Appearing in the Supreme Court Monthly Arraignments session this morning [Apr 1], two men pleaded not guilty to sexual assault charges in two separate cases.
First Case
A 73-year-old man, who had to make use of an interpreter, pleaded not guilty to the unlawful sexual assault of a female on a date unknown between May 2012 and October 2014. Justice Carlyle Greaves set trial for the defendant, who cannot be legally named at this stage, for May 2015.
Second Case
In another separate case, the defendant, who cannot be legally named at this stage, pleaded not guilty to aggravated burglary and the serious sexual assault of a woman whilst carrying a bladed article. He was given a trial date in August 2015.
