Two Men In Intensive Care Unit After Collision

[Updated] Two men — aged 23 and 43 — are in the Intensive Care Unit following a motorcycle collision on St. John’s Road in Pembroke yesterday [April 11].

A police spokesperson said, “At last check the 23 year old male livery cycle rider and 43 year old male motorcyclist from Devonshire injured in a collision that occurred around 5:13pm Saturday, April 11th along St. John’s Road Pembroke, in the vicinity of Cox’s Hill and Mount View Road, were both in the Intensive Care Unit at the hospital.

“Inquiries are ongoing and any witnesses to this collision are once again asked to contact the main police telephone number 295-0011 at the earliest opportunity.”

Update April 13, 11.51am: The police said that at last check [around 6:30am Monday, April 13th] both gentlemen were in stable condition at the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital.

“Inquiries are ongoing and police continue to appeal for any witnesses to this collision to contact the main police telephone number 295-0011 at the earliest opportunity,” the police added.
