Video: A Day In The Life Of Ben Ainslie Racing
A new video released by the Ben Ainslie Racing team highlights the hard work necessary to prepare for the upcoming America’s Cup, depicting the team’s practice routine here on the island.
The video shows team members rising early in the morning, consuming a green concoction for breakfast, and then hitting the gym for a workout.
After the workout, the team heads to the water for sailing, and after the team focuses on equipment maintenance before going for a run and subsequent outdoor workout, ending the day on an active note.
The team has published other videos of their time spent preparing here on the island, including being the ‘first to fly on Bermudian waters‘ and setting a new FC20 catamaran speed record of 31.2 knots.
Ben Ainslie Racing is one of five teams set to compete for the 35th America’s Cup, including the defending champion,Oracle Team USA, the defending champion,alongside Artemis Racing from Sweden,Emirates Team from New Zealand, and Team France.
Originally six teams were scheduled to compete, however the Italian team Luna Rossa recently withdrew in protest over rule changes.
