Coral Beach & Tennis Club Donates To Squash

May 1, 2015

The 2015 Legends of Squash tournament recently ended with a generous donation to local junior squash as the Coral Beach & Tennis Club hosted a series of clinics, a fundraising dinner, and a silent auction that raised over $1,200.

Coral Beach & Tennis Club, the host sponsor for the event, also held four days of squash clinics for local primary and secondary school children, giving them free one-on-one training sessions with eight former World Champions.

Patrick Singleton, Director of Sport at Coral Beach & Tennis Club, said, “This was a fantastic event. It was especially gratifying to be able to share World Class talent with Bermuda’s youth.

“I know that the children from Purvis Primary School, Somersfield Academy, and the young Junior National team players benefited from the lessons and we are pleased that squash in Bermuda will benefit from this donation.”
