Westgate Prisoner Denies Possessing Cannabis
Appearing in Magistrates Court this morning [May 26], 22-year-old Raymond Kidd — who is currently serving a sentence in Westgate Correctional Facility – pleaded not guilty to possessing cannabis and cannabis resin and with attempting to convey prohibited items into Westgate.
All three allegations stem from an alleged interception on 13th January 2015.
Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo set trial for 12th August and further remanded Kidd, who is already serving a sentence, until this August trial date.
