Miss Bermuda, Contestants Visit Cabinet Office
Earlier today [July 15], Premier Michael Dunkley welcomed newly crowned Miss Bermuda Alyssa Rose to the Cabinet Office.
Also attending the Cabinet Office were Ms. Rose’s fellow Miss Bermuda contestants Brittany Madeiros representing Southampton, Tamara Bradshaw representing Warwick, Ligaya Sanchez-Wilson representing Pembroke, Miss Congeniality, Kathryn O’Connor representing Devonshire and pageant organiser Milika Trott-Seymour.
The Premier used the occasion to formally congratulate Ms. Rose for being chosen Miss Bermuda and wished her well on being an ambassador for the Island. Ms. Rose is 22-years-old and studied at the University for the Creative Arts in Canterbury, Nottingham Trent University and Kingston University, London.
She has a Masters degree in Marketing and Brand Management and she will next represent Bermuda at the upcoming 65th Annual Miss World competition, in China this December.
The Premier commended all the young women on their performance during the Miss Bermuda Pageant earlier this month, saying they “demonstrated poise, grace and dignity”.
And he said they should all feel “extremely proud” of their accomplishments, noting that they should consider themselves role models and use the pageant experience to “strive and do great things in our community and beyond”.

Congratulations Miss Bermuda
Is she Bermudian by accident?
What does that mean??
Are you?
I really couldn’t have seen anyone else winning besides miss Alyssa rose…
So while Michael fahy and Georgia Marshall were insulting Bermudians, this guy was doing photo Ops with pretty girls.
Hiding as usual from the big issues.
What a good Photo op. She looks like a winner in China. Too bad the Asians usually pick their own kind or affiliate country to win it….so it will be quite bias.
how?
