Photos: Crowds Attend World Rugby Classic

Crowds of enthusiastic spectators made their way to the National Sports Centre in Devonshire on Sunday afternoon [Nov 8], as the World Rugby Classic kicked off with teams from Argentina, France, Canada, South Africa, Italy, New Zealand, the UK and USA taking part.

The Classic got underway on Sunday with the Argentina defeating France 14-12 in the first game, while the Classic Lions Lions defeated Canada 43 – 7 in the second match.

The event will continue today [Nov 9], with the gates opening at 5.45pm, the South Africa vs. United States match at 7.15pm, and the Italy vs. New Zealand match at 8.30pm.

The World Rugby Classic Golf Tournament will take place on Tuesday [Nov 10] at the Riddells Bay Golf & Country Club, with the rugby actions set to continue on Wednesday [Nov 11] evening.

The Classic will continue on Thursday [Nov 12], with two matches scheduled in the evening, and the Plate and Classic finals will be taking place on Saturday [Nov 14].
