Video: Oracle’s Third Boat Arrives In Bermuda
America’s Cup defending champions Team Oracle USA recently welcomed their third AC45S testing boat to Bermuda, with boat arriving broken down into components in two shipping containers following a long trip from New Zealand.
“We’ll start assembling it as soon as possible to get it sailing early next year,” said boat-building manager Mark Turner. “There’s a lot of work to do – all the systems still have to be installed before we can go sailing. It’s a tight timeline to get on the water.”
