Ag Show Entry Deadline Extended To March 24
The deadline for entries to this year’s Bermuda Agricultural Show has been extended from the original date of March 18th to March 24th.
“AG Show Ltd President Antwan Albouy is encouraging members of the community to take advantage of the week-long extension by getting their final entry forms in for the 2016 show,” the organisers said.
“This year’s show is being produced as a public private partnership between the Government of Bermuda and the AG Show Ltd a local registered charity.
“The Bermuda Agricultural Show is scheduled to take place from April 14 – 16, 2016 at the Botanical Gardens in Paget.”

Chairman of the AG Show Ltd David Lopes said, “This year people can expect to be the most exciting yet, open to entries in all categories from preschool age children straight through to adults. There is something for everyone to enter. Divisions will be judged by leading industry figures and overseas judges.
Commenting on the deadline extension, Mr Albouy said: “We know there will always be some people in our community who leave preparing their entries until the last minute – so we’re providing an extra week until the 24th March so that everyone gets a chance to submit their forms.
“We won’t be able to extend a second time however, so we are saying to everyone that now is the time to start work on their entries if they haven’t already done so. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank our sponsors for their financial support, without them we would not be able to produce this show.
“Lastly I would also like to thank the Ministry of Public Works and the Department of Parks who are working extremely hard to ensure that the buildings and grounds are ready for the show. ”

As I was saying , when a government pulls money from a traditional event and spends it on small minded , petty fools such as yourself … We have definitely lost the way !

Im truly grateful for our show to take place. I have an 8 year old son who enters flowers, fish tanks etc. Thank you to all that has made this happen.
